Central FL Fair

Saturday we went to the Central FL Fair. It was a lot of fun. We check out the animals, ate some good food, played some games, like "I Got It," took an old-time photo and just enjoyed the day. Piper won a bolw-up duck at the duck pond and loves it. We really enjoyed the day!

Peek-a-Boo

A Little Update

Just wanted to tell a few things Piper's been doing lately. Friday she learned to blow kisses. Grandma Hoffman had been trying to teach her while she was here Easter weekend. But Piper just didn't get it then. We've been teaching her since then and she got it on Friday. Saturday we taught her to throw her arms above her head when we say "touchdown." It's SO cute. And yesterday she started crawling. She's still not up on her hands and knees. But she's moving forward instead of side to side! Walking will be any day now!

Tot to Trot

Today Piper and Mommy went to Tot to Trot. We met Dante and his Mommy and Daddy (Lisa and Robbie) there. It's a children's fun and fitness center. They offer lots of cool classes, but we just went to an open gym today. So basically Piper and Dante just got to play with whatever they wanted. They had lots of fun. We're definitely going to go back again sometime!

Lake Eola Fiesta in the Park

Last weekend (4/14) we went to Lake Eola for the annual Spring Fiesta. It's a huge outdoor craft fair. There's also a nice big playground there. We spent the day browsing the tents. Piper got a cute catapillar wall hanging for above her bed. We stopped off to play on the playground for just a bit, so here are some pics from that!

A Miserable Day

Piper has been absolutely miserable today. The only things that kept her happy were being in her crib or going outside. And of course I felt bad leaving her in her crib all day. So we tried going outside a bit. It was pretty hot and very sunny today, so we couldn't stay out for too long at a time. Piper wasn't completely happy when we were outside, but at least she wasn't screaming. I took some pictures of her, but she was so distracted by every little sound, and she was so moody that most of them didn't come out well. But I love this one, so I thought I'd share!

Easter Morning

On Easter morning Daddy and Piper got up before Mommy went to work. The Easter bunny visited the house and left Piper some fun things!

Mommy had to work on Easter day, so we had a nice dinner on the day before. Piper looked pretty in her Easter outfit!

A Little More for 11 Months!

I forgot that Piper learned to play peek-a-boo on her own earlier this week. She usually uses a blanket, toy or clothing we're about to put on her, but today she used her dress!

Happy 11 Month Birthday Piper!

Today we did some running around with Grandma Smith. These were taken before we left this morning. Piper has been pretty moody since we got back, so she won't let me take anymore right now. (If she does, I will post them later) Not much has changed in the past month. She claps a lot. Yesterday she learned 2 new things. 1: How to stand herself up in front of the couch. She has a cushion in front of the couch that she always sits against, well yesterday she climbed up it to a standing position. She was trying to get to me, I was sitting on the couch. 2: How to wave by opening and closing her hand. She usually just waves her whole arm, but yesterday she started using just her fingers. It was very cute!

Dying Easter Eggs

Last night we dyed our Easter eggs. It was fun. Piper couldn't help this year, but we did a few for her!

Last night Mommy and Piper met Daddy at the mall when he got out of work. Piper met the Easter Bunny for the first time. She really seemed to like him!

Piper's Toy Box

Grandpa Smith made this toy box for Piper just before Christmas time. Mommy (with a little help from Daddy) painted it, added the lettering and decorated it. It's still not quite done, which is why I hadn't posted the pics yet. I still want to add a couple more stripes to the top. But for now, here it is! Coming Tomorrow: Easter Bunny Visit! Coming Friday: Piper turns 11 months!
