Piper's 2nd Birthday

Yesterday we were out all day so I didn't get a chance to post these. Piper had a lot of fun on her second birthday. Mommy and Daddy woke her up first thing in the morning. She got to open some presents before we brought Daddy to work. Then Mommy and Piper spent the entire day at home playing with new toys and relaxing. After we picked up Daddy at work we all went to Toys R Us to spend some giftcards and money that Piper received at her party. She picked out a Little People airplane, a Little People Racin' Car Garage and a Sesame Street Medical Kit. And there was still some money left for next time too! When we got home Grandma and Grandpa Smith came over with one more present from them (an Elmo search and find book). We sang Happy Birthday and Piper got to blow out her candles.

Big Girl Bed

Yesterday we spent much of the day at Ikea looking for the perfect big girl bed for Piper. Her crib converts to a toddler bed and then a full size, but after a lot of debate we decided this was the best option for right now. This one expands to a middle size and then a twin as she grows. We also stopped at Sears to pick out some new bedding for her too. When we got home we put it together and here's pictures of Piper testing it out. So when bed time came, Mommy was at work, but Daddy said that she climbed in bed and went right to sleep at bedtime and he never heard a peep from her. She took a nice long nap in it today too and seems to love it!

Piper's JoJo Birthday Party

Yesterday was Piper's JoJo themed birthday party! We had it at Bear Creek Recreation Complex; a nearby park with a nice pavillion. Lots of friends and family came by to see Piper and bring her presents. It was the perfect day for it and everyone had lots of fun!
