Today Casey is one month old. I can't believe how fast it has gone. He is doing good. Finally back up to (and a little above) his birth weight. I'll explain all about Casey's "problems" in another post. But we're in the process of solving them and he's doing better with everything. He loves to be held and hates laying... he loves being upright or on his belly. He loves tummy time and tries to inch forward, we're gonna have an early crawler with him. He's already trying to hold his head up and actually does pretty good with it. Piper is still loving being a big sister and tries to help out all the time. Here are some pics of out little one month old.
Big sister wanted to get in the pictures too!

Some Photos of Yesterday!
Here are just a few photos of a lazy day at home.
She fell asleep watching her cartoons... couldn't she at least have put her head on the cushion?
Sleepy boy!

Casey and I fell asleep on the couch before Daddy left for work at Target... and Daddy got a little sneaky!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Today was Casey's first holiday! We all celebrated by wearing our reds and pinks. Daddy got roses and a giant Reese's heart for Mommy. And Mommy made cookies for Daddy. Piper got some stickers from Mommy and Daddy. And Casey got lots of hugs, kisses and love from everyone (not that that's really unusual). Here are some pictures of Piper and Casey celebrating Casey's first holiday!
Last night Piper gave Casey a bottle all by herself! She asked if she could and was so excited to help out with her little brother!

A Little Update
Last night Piper and Casey spent the evening with Mama and Bapa so that Mommy and Daddy could enjoy a nice anniversary dinner out. We headed to The Melting Pot. For those of you that don't know what it is, it's a fondue restaurant. You start with a cheese appetizer, then a vegetable based boullion to cook your meat in and last a chocolate dessert. It was our first time going there and it we loved it. It was delicious.
About to head out.
Today was my first day with 2 kids an no husband to help out. Ryan had to go back to work today. Piper kept pushing her limits and testing me. But for the most part everything was really good. The 2 pictures below are when they were both sleeping at the same time. This only lasted for about 10 minutes... Casey woke up to eat. I changed his diaper before he ate and he decided to scream the whole time. This, of course, woke Piper up. But about an hour later Casey and I were dozing on the couch and Piper climbed up and fell asleep with us!

Are you ready for some football?!
As tradition has it, we went to Uncle Jeff and Aunt Susan's to watch the Super Bowl last night. Ryan, Piper and Casey got decked out in their Dolphins gear. Even though the Dolphins didn't make it to the Super Bowl, they still wanted to show their spirit! So before we headed out we took a few pictues of Piper and Casey in their outfits with the blankets Mommy made for each of them. We had to bribe Piper with a cookie to take the pictures. And the second the pictures were taken she said, "Get him off my laaaap." It was actually pretty funny, especially the way she said it. Piper spent most of the time inside Haley's play yard trying out all of her toys. She even had a couple playmates join her in there... Kim and Scott. We all had fun watching the game at The Valkenburg's house. Until next year!
