Jack-O-Lanterns

Mommy and Daddy turned their pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns! Daddy's is the one that says "Piper's First Halloween" and Mommy did the one with the "stack-o-lanterns."

Piper's Pumpkins

Yesterday before Mommy went to work, we went to get pumpkins. We got one for each of us. We're going to carve them tonight and we'll post after pictures in the morning!

International Food and Wine Festival

Last night Daddy had an unexpected night off. We wanted to go see Noises Off (a STAGE show), but it would have made for a late night for any baby-sitter. So insted we had a family night and went to the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. Piper rode her first Disney ride, Mommy's home; Spaceship Earth. Piper also met Aladdin for the second time. All 3 of us enjoyed our time spent together and Mommy and Daddy enjoyed the food and wine :)

October Spirit

Piper is getting excited for Halloween. So today to get into the spirit she wore a sleep 'n play outfit that Mommy bought her. It came with a matching hat and bib and looks adorable. The detail in the bib says "I take after my mummy."

Carrots

Piper's first taste of carrots and she loved them. She's usually not a very messy eater, but she got these everywhere! She's getting very grabby, so that doesn't help when Mommy is trying to feed her. More Please! All done, that was yummy!

Happy Birthday Great Grandpa Joe!

Great Grandpa celebreated his 75th birthday while he was here. We all went to Macaroni Grille for a nice dinner.

A Visit From Some "Greats"

Nona and Great Grandpa Joe came to visit for a week. Piper got to spend lots of time with them. Mommy picked up an extra shift at work and Mommy and Daddy spent a night out. Great Grandpa took Piper for a walk with him and Nona read to Piper. They all enjoyed their time spent together.

October 2, 2006 Mommy's Birthday!

My 21st birthday was lots of fun. When we got back to O-Town it was off to lunch. We met Mom, Dad, Aunt Pam and Jen at Macaroni Grill, it was delicious. Then we ran up to the mall to do a little bit of shopping. Then we dropped off Piper and Grandma and Grandpa's and headed out to PI (Pleasure Island). There we met Brandy, Carolyn, Rebecca, Jeff, Susan, Kim and Dustin for some more birthday fun!

Happy 5 Month Birthday Piper!

Today Piper is 5 months old. She is eating solid foods as well as a bottle at every meal. She has tried rice cereal mixed with apple juice, green beans and bananas. Her next new solid is going to be sweet potatoes. She drinks apple juice from a sippy cup. She holds her bottle herself (she has been doing that for a while now). She has learned to love tummy time and rolls to her tummy to play on her own. She giggles all the time. Her feet still don't reach the bottom of her exersaucer. But she is having lots of fun playing with the toys on it. When she's in her play gym she grabs the toys and tries to eat them now, instead of just staring at them. Her favorite place to play is on a blanket on the floor with all her toys around her, so she can reach whatever she wants. She reaches when she wants you to hold her, but it's not quite purposeful yet. She loves to cuddle with Mommy and Daddy and have their full attention, especially when they're trying to eat dinner.
