Easter!

On Easter morning, Mommy got Piper up, Piper ate her breakfast and then woke up Daddy so she could see what the Easter Bunny brought her. She was excited at the gifts he left. There was stuffed bunny, 3 Sesame Street magic towels, Elmo and Zoe hairclips, a popsicle maker set, animal crackers, a Mickey and Pluto puzzle and an Elmo's World DVD. After everyone got cleaned up and dressed we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Smith's for an Easter Egg hunt and dinner with them and Great Aunt Pam and Great Uncle Marty. Piper had lots of fun collecting all the eggs, she had so many that she could barely carry the basket. We all enjoyed dinner and ahd a great day!

Dying Easter Eggs

Tonight we dyed our Easter eggs. Piper got to help this year! We got a Sesame Street egg kit, so Piper was really excited to see some of her favorite characters.

Spring Fling at Mickey's Retreat

Yesterday we went to Mickey's Retreat for the annual Spring Fling. Mickey's Retreat is a "park" for cast members only. It's on a small lake where you can rent paddle boats or canoes or go fishing. There's sports fields, sand volleyball, 2 pools, a playground and pavillions for cook outs.

So yesterday when we got there we bought a bunch of tickets for $.25 each. For one ticket, Piper got a cute pink basket to collect prizes in. Piper was given a slip of paper that she took from station to station to collect a stamp and a prize. Each station was to celebrate a different Spring holiday like Easter, Passover and May Day. Once she collected all the stamps we turned in her paper for a chance to win an Easter basket filled with goodies (unfortunately she didn't win). Mary Poppins, Bert, Mickey and Minnie were there, so we got to meet and take pictures with them. We played a bunch of carnival games for one ticket each and Piper got to make a bunny necklace for one ticket. There were lots of arts and crafts, but Piper was too young for most of them. Mommy and Piper went down the inflatable slide together for one ticket. And after all the fun we grabbed a bite to eat. It was a really fun event and we'll probably go back again next year!

Kitchen!!!

I know it was like a month ago when I said I would get these pictures up, but I kept forgetting. So here is the final product of our kitchen re-do. We still need to get knobs or handles for the drawers and curtains for the sliding glass door (we haven't found any we like yet), but all of the major work is done.

Another Tooth!

Piper got one more tooth on Monday. It's in the front on the bottom on her left. Right next to her very front left tooth. She was a bit fussy while it was coming in, but not too bad at all. If I'm not mistaken that's tooth #9! No pictures yet, because it definitely isn't visible unless you look close! Yay Piper!

Sleepy Head!

Today Mommy picked up parade, so Grandma and Grandpa Smith watched Piper. Mommy and Piper had some dinner and as Piper was finishing up her juice, she started to nod off! It was too cute and too funny!
