Dr. Appt

Sorry I forgot to update after Piper's 1 year check up, which was Wednesday. Our tiny little peanut is 15 lb 5 oz and 26 1/2 in long. The Dr. was worried that Piper's height growth was slowing down, so she had to get some extra testing done. Of course, she thought that Piper's just little and that's why, but they had to cover the bases and make sure there wasn't some kind of hormone problem. She had to get some blood drawn and she was NOT happy with that. They tried each arm and her veins were just too tiny, so then they tried her hand and got the blood there. She was screaming and crying so much. Then she had to get 3 shots. She was not happy but she was a little trooper. She kept looking at her hand with the band-aid on it and holding it up for everyone to see. But at least we know that she's not sick and she won't get sick.
