Popsicles and the 4th of July!

Yesterday Piper got to try eating her first popsicle on her own. At first she didn't understand that she was supposed to hold the stick and she just held onto the actaul popsicle, so she kept screaming cause it was too cold for her little hands. So we wrapped the wrapper around the stick to make it easier for her to hold. She really liked it, but got sick of it about 1/2 way through.

As our tradition goes, we spent the evening at Epcot. Aunt Susan and Uncle Jeff joined us. Piper was very cranky by the time the fireworks were starting cause it was way past her bedtime. She just kept her head on my shoulder and watched out of the corner of her eye. The first few scared her a bit and she began to cry, but she calmed right down as she saw the pretty lights.
