Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Tuesday was Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It was a lot of fun. The shows and decorations were awesome. And we were excited to see the new parade! Here's a couple pics!

Maingate Christmas Party

Last night was the Maingate Kid's Christmas Party. Maingate is the building that Daddy works in at Disney. Piper had fun running around, meeting new kids and characters. She was a bit moody, but overall we all had a good time.

The Last Night of Hanukkah

Last night was the last night of Hanukkah. Piper helped Daddy light the candles and opened her last present. It was a set of Jewish holiday wooden puzzles. And her last present from Grandma Hoffman and Grandpa Stevie was a Hanukkah book. She also got a gift from Judy... Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Oscar the Grouch singing on a sleigh. She loved her last gifts and loved celebrating Hanukkah.

MGM during the Holidays

After almost 8 months, we finally got to meet Cody, our friends Terri and Corey's little boy. We met Terri and Cody at the big Disney sale (they didn't have anything good). Then we headed over to MGM for a little fun before we watched the parade. After the parade we had a meet and greet with Santa Clause. Uncle Jeff was very good friends with Santa, so it was an extra special first visit of the year with Santa!

Hanukkah

Last night was the first night of Hanukah. When Daddy got home, we lit the candles and Piper got to pick one present from the basket to open. She also got to pick one of the presents from Grandma Hoffman and Grandpa Stevie.

Our Holiday Wreath

Yesterday Mommy got some supplies at Michael's and spent the afternoon working on a special project. This holiday wreath for our front door was the outcome of an afternoon of hard work!

Decorating the Tree

Tonight we decorated our Christmas tree. Piper helped put the star on the top and got to put the first ornament on the tree, which was the first ornament she ever got. She also helped by decorating the bottom of the tree with the non-breakable and plush ornaments. Although, she didn't quite understand that you have to put the loops around the branches; she tried to set the ornaments on top of the branches. We think it looks very nice!

Nakey Baby and a Dr's Appointment

This is a funny picture taken before Piper and I took a shower on Wednesday. Naked baby on the run! Yesterday was her 18 month check up. Yeah, I can't beleive she's already 18 months either! Anyways she's now 20 lbs 4 oz and 29 1/4 in. Dr. Britton said everything is great and all the things he told me to start looking for, she's already doing, so we have a smart little bugger! On Halloween 2 more teeth appeared too. They aren't front teeth though, they are the first molars! Which Dr. Britton said it is also normal for little ones who get their first teeth late, to get the rest out of order. Piper is saying more words now and even knows a few animal sounds (thanks to Grandpa Smith). She knows 9 different body parts, can walk backwards and can run. She's also starting to learn different colors and different characters (Mickey Mouse, Elmo and Pluto). And we're even doing a little potty training, which of course, she has not mastered yet, but is catching on well.
