In September I will be participating in the Light the Night Walk at Lake Eola to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. My friend, Lizz, created Team Beat It in memory of her friend Chris Sawyer who passed away in 2006 at the age of 24 from Lymphoma. I will be walking, in memory of my Aunt/Godmother, Angela Lorence. Please take the time to look at my donation website and consider making a donation. I will be grateful for any donation you can make no matter the amount! If you know anyone else that may be interested in contributing, please pass along my website. You can contribute online using a credit card and it is completely safe. But if you do not feel comfortable, you can always give me cash or a check and I can enter the donation into the system by hand! Thanks in advance!

Big Girl Underpants!
Piper has been doing very good with the potty! For the past few weeks she has been wearing her training pants all day and only putting a diaper on for naps, bedtime or to go out somewhere. So yesterday we took her to Target to let her pick out some big girl underpants. She wanted the princess ones and was so excited to wear them today. While we were out yesterday, we also let her wear her training pants instead of a diaper. And she did great with that too. We brought along an extra outfit and some diapers just in case, but she didn't have a single accident!

Piper's Secret Revealed!
That's right! We're expecting our second little monkey! I'm 7 weeks along and our due date has been set as February 8. I've been doing well. I've gotten sick once so far (knock on wood), but unfortunately have been feeling sick pretty frequently. I've also been extrememly exhausted, and I was the same way with Piper.
This morning was all my bloodwork. Our next appointment is on July 9th, which is when we will have our first ultrasound. This time we will be finding out the gender (not till 20 weeks though), so that we know if we'll need to buy new clothing or not and we can be better prepared than last time.
So that you're not confused, until we know, we will be calling the baby, "Baby C." The explaination for this, is that no matter the gender, the baby's name will start with a C. If it is a boy, his name will be Casey Alexander (which would have been Piper's name if she were a boy). If it is a girl, her name will be Charlee Anne.
Piper is excited. If you ask her where the baby is she'll come over and point at my belly. Every morning she comes into our room and when she climbs in bed she'll come over and pull up my shirt so she can see my belly. Then she'll wave at my belly and say "Hi baby." Then she kisses my belly and says "hug" as she lays across my stomach. She also says she wants a sister. Although, I don't think she really understands that part of it. She does understand that there's a baby in there though.
Well that's it for now, we'll keep you posted on everything!

Poppy and Aunt Judy come up for a visit
Poppy (Grandpa Kirsch) and Aunt Judi came up for the weekend from Fort Lauderdale. It rained most of their visit, but we made the most of it. We went to Animal Kingdom so Aunt Judi could ride Expedition Everest and then it started raining. To escape the rain, we went to the Florida Mall. Then on Sunday, we went to Epcot all day. It rained on and off, but we got on a lot of rides and had a great time. Mommy had to wrk most of the time, so we only got to spend a little time with her too.
We went to Journey into Imagination and the nice Kodak lady gave us this picture and told us to make funny faces.

Father's Day
On Sunday Daddy woke up to a basket of goodies on the table. He got a golf range basket filled with practice balls, floater balls, a survival kit, tees and an extra special golf towel that has a picture of Piper on it. After a very yummy breakfast, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Smith's for the day. We relaxed, went swimming and had a great dinner!

Mommy's Helper
This morning after Piper and I dropped Daddy off at work, we went grocery shopping. Piper was very good the whole time, she just sat and ate her Cheerios. When we got up to the register she turned around in her seat and helped put things up on the belt. Then when we got home she carried a couple bags inside. I told her to take off her shoes and go play, but she just wouldn't. She insisted on helping. She handed me all the cold things as I put them in the fridge or freezer. And then she stayed in the kitchen and handed me things over the gate as I put them into the pantry/closet. She was such a big help!
Gotta get the sauce!
Don't worry it's plastic and I'm using 2 hands!
Don't forget the bagels!

Our Trip to NY
For anyone that may not know, last week Piper, my Mom and I took a trip to Syracuse. One of my best friends, Erica was getting married. I was in her wedding as a bridesmaid and Piper was her flowergirl! We also managed to find some time to visit with family. It was a very busy week and we were on the go constantly. Here are some of the best pictures from the trip!
